Bangladesh
B2B travel portal software in Bangladesh
Sell your contracted hotels, tours, transfers and packages to sub-agents across Bangladesh in taka, under your own brand, with Bengali on the screen and Dhaka at the centre of it.
How the trade works in Bangladesh
Bangladesh regulates the trade in three separate registers: travel agencies with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, tour operators and guides under their own Act of 2021, and Hajj and Umrah agencies with the Ministry of Religious Affairs. A Dhaka house that does all three runs three regulated lines of business from one office, and can be selling all three to the same sub-agents.
What Bangladeshi operators are loading
Umrah packages on fixed departures with Makkah and Madinah hotels, outbound holiday packages to Nepal and beyond, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet hotels, and Sundarbans boat trips that run on the Forest Department's own calendar.
Hotels
Room type × rate plan × season, per-occupancy prices, allotment and stop-sell per night, supplements.
Tours & attractions
Options with their own capacity and operating days, time slots, age bands, add-ons, e-tickets.
Transfers
A route with two named ends — per vehicle when private, per seat when shared, with a night window.
Money and language, set the way Bangladesh works
Your books, your wallet and your prices stay in BDT, chosen once at setup so the ledger stays reconcilable; a partner agency can also buy in its own currency, at a rate frozen on each booking. Your portal reads in English and Bengali. Service dates and booking cut-offs are judged in the product city's own time zone, not yours.
Bengali is among the 32 interface languages, and language is a setting of each user rather than of the account, so a sub-agent in Chattogram can work in Bengali while your Dhaka desk keeps English.
Three registers, one sub-agent network
Bangladeshi law keeps these businesses apart even when one company runs them all. A travel agency renews its registration online with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. Tour operators and tour guides need a registration of their own under the Tour Operators and Tour Guides (Registration and Operation) Act of 2021. And nobody may deal with a Hajj pilgrim without registration under the Hajj and Umrah Management Act.
Hajj also runs on two channels. Pilgrims pre-register and then travel either through the government's own arrangement or privately through licensed agencies, so a private-channel agency is selling into a process whose deadlines it does not set. The sub-agent who books that pilgrim may want a Cox's Bazar weekend from you a month later.
Keeping the lines apart on one portal
Each sub-agent gets one login, not one undivided catalogue.
- Each product chooses its buyers. Show a product to every partner agency, only to the agencies or price tiers you name, or to all except them; to any other agency it is simply not found.
- Access by vertical, per agent. Switch hotels, tours or transfers off for one sub-agent, and the booking engine refuses the sale rather than merely hiding a menu.
- Packages with seats. Day-by-day programmes on fixed departures, with per-person prices that change with the room and the season, plus upgrades and extras, for Umrah and holiday departures alike.
- Rooming lists for each hotel. Room by room for the hotel and its dates, with party, board and remarks, emailed to the hotel as a numbered supplier copy.
A forest with a closing date
The Sundarbans show why a calendar has to be enforced rather than remembered. The Forest Department sells entry through its own e-ticketing site with a daily cap at each spot, lists the operators and vessels that run trips, and closes the forest to visitors for three months of the monsoon each year.
Close those dates once across every Sundarbans product, picked by place, with a preview first and one undo, and no agent can book a launch trip that will not sail. Sold as a package departure, the trip counts its seats down as they go; switch on a minimum to run and each morning you are told which departures are still below it, while the decision to run or cancel stays yours.
Taka balances, settled the way agents pay
Your account and every sub-agent's balance can stay in taka from the first booking.
- Prepaid, credit or no limit. You choose per agency; a booking is charged inside its own transaction and refused when the account cannot carry it.
- A slip instead of a phone call. An agent reports a payment with the bank reference and the slip; the money moves only when you confirm it.
- Costs in the hotel's currency. A net hotel contract can be costed in riyals or rupees on its rate plan, converted at your rate and frozen on the booking.
- Statements an agency can keep, with a running balance and a CSV for any date range.
